NEED: As the number of grades at Bethany expands to include high school levels, our facilities need to expand as well to appropriately meet the academic needs of the students. With this idea in mind, we recently converted our old library into a new computer lab. Pictured at left is a large room in the basement of the Metsch building which we plan to convert into a new, larger library. The room will need a humidity resistant drop ceiling, new light fixtures, carpeting, and furniture, and eventually we will need to increase our library materials to include more offerings geared toward older children. GOAL: To have the new library ready to open by the end of summer, 2008. ESTIMATED COST: $7,000 (This is a very general estimate. The budget for this project is still in process.) |
